American Architectural Iron Co., Inc. was founded in 1896. We are one of the oldest continuously operated businesses in the Boston area, and we have fabricated and installed some of the largest miscellaneous metals jobs done here, including the renovation of the mall level of the Prudential and student housing towers at both Northeastern and Boston Universities. Our work ranges from prime painted structural steel to polished stainless and glass rail systems. We have done high end work at such local landmarks as Symphony Hall, Harvard’s Fog Museum, and The Museum of Fine Arts. One whole division of our operation is devoted exclusively to renovation work. Our location in East Boston, literally five minutes from downtown, gives us a reduced carbon footprint and a LEEDS advantage.
